First Issue of Charano! Got Released

As reported before in this link, the light novel magazine Novel JAPAN got a name change to Charano!. The first issue with the new name got released today (29/6).

The light novel series Kujibiki Yuusha Sama by Shimizu Fumika (author) and Ushiki Yoshitaka (illustrator) got a manga adaptation starting in this issue. The manga is titled Kujibiki Sisters and its drawn by the same illustrator of the light novel.

Allison and ToraDora! Manga Adaptations to Start in Dengeki Comic Gao!

Two manga adaptations of Allison and ToraDora! light novels will start serialization in the September issue of Dengeki Comic Gao! magazine (released on 27/7).

Allison light novel series by Keiichi Sigsawa (author) and Kohaku Kuroboshi (illustrator) will be drawn by Hiroki Haruse.
ToraDora! light novel series by Yuyuko Takemiya (author) and Yasu (illustrator) will be drawn by Zekkyou.

Keiichi Sigsawa is the author of the Kino no Tabi light novel series.

Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu Gets a Second Game

The light novel series Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu by Akiyama Mizuhito (author) and Eeji Komatsu (illustrator) will be getting a second sound novel for the Nintendo DS. It will be released on October 25 for the price of 3360 yen. A bundled version including both games (the previous Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu game and the new one) will be released on the same date for the price of 6090 yen.

Lucky☆Star Gets a Light Novel Adaptation

A light novel adaptation of Kagami Yoshimizu's 4-panel manga Lucky☆Star has been announced to be released on September 1st under Kadokawa's light novel label Sneaker Bunko. The light novel will be titled Lucky☆Star Lucky☆Star Satsujin Jiken (らき☆すた らき☆すた殺人事件), and it will be authored by Touka Takei.

NHK ni Youkoso! Ends in Shounen Ace

NHK ni Youkoso! (Welcome to the N.H.K.) manga ended after 40 chapters, the last chapter appeared in the July issue of Shounen Ace magazine. The manga, drawn by Kendi Oiwa, is based on the light novel of the same name from Tatsuhiko Takimoto.

ToraDora! and Ookami to Koushinryou to Get Manga Adaptation

A manga adaptation of both ToraDora! and Ookami to Koushinryou light novels have been decided. both light novels are published under MediaWork's light novel label Dengeki Bunko.

The light novel series ToraDora! by Takemiya Yuyuko (author) and Yasu (illustrator) will be adapted to manga in the shounen magazine Dengeki Comic Gao!. Serialization of the manga will start in the September issue of the magaizne (released on July 27), and it will be drawn by Zekkyou.

The light novel series Ookami to Koushinryou by Hasekura Isuna (author) and Ayakura Juu (illustrator) will be adapted to manga in the seinen magazine Dengeki Maoh. Serialization of the manga will start in the November's issue of the magazine (released on September 27), and it will be drawn by Koume Keito.

Kadokawa Shoten has opened an official site for its BL(boy's love) light novel label Ruby Bunko at this address.

Kadokawa Shoten publishes about 4 BL light novel volumes under this label each month.

The Magician's Academy PS2 Game Got Released

The light novel series The Magician's Academy by Ichiro Sakaki (author) and BLADE (illustrator) got adapted to a moe simulation RPG for the PS2. The game got released to the market today (June 7) for the price of 7140 yen.

A TV commercial mentioning the game is now available on the game's official wesite.

Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu Light Novel Series Gets Adapted to Manga

The light novel series Iriya no Sora, UFO no Natsu by Akiyama Mizuhito (author) and Komatsu Eiji (illustrator) will be adapted to a manga. The manga is scheduled to start serialization this summer in the seinen magazine Dengeki Maoh, and it will be drawn by Kanno Touko. the manga will be different from both light novel and anime (an anime adaptation of the light novel was broadcasted in 2005).

Crack Hound Light Novel Gets Adapted to Manga

The light novel series Crack Hound by Sakaki Ichiro (author) and Ogawara Ryou (illustrator) will be adapted to manga starting in the next issue of the seinen magazine Young Animal Arasi (released on July 6th). the manga adaptation will be drawn by Maekawa Kazuo.
